AiM Sports' Compact Entry-level Dash LoggerThe AiM MXm Dash is a compact dash logger providing all the info needed by racers: the MXm samples and shows key info like speed, lap times, RPM, all the temperature/pressure data you need, and much more.
The MXm Dash has been designed with the aim to make configuration and usage smooth and easy, both for amateurs and professionals with sophisticated technical backgrounds alike.
The AiM Sports MXm Dash is built for acquiring and displaying data coming from your engine ECU, the internal accelerometer, and gyros, as well as from the internal GPS receiver, analog/digital inputs and predefined math channels. The spectrum of data acquired can also be increased by adding AiM Sports Expansion Modules.
AiM MXm Dash ECU ConnectionsAiM Sports Data Acquisition Systems acquire data from the ECU of your vehicle. The list of available ECU drivers is constantly updated and upgraded and is available on the AiM website. The list of compatible ECUs includes over a 1,000 different models, both Stock and Racing which are sorted by manufacturer/vehicle model. For each ECU you find the proprietary communication protocols, including the standard OBDII protocol.
Superb Readability in All SituationsThe AiM MXm features a high contrast LCD display, with an outstanding black to white ratio. The wide 268x128 pixel graphical LCD offers great flexibility in information to display along with many different alerts. An ambient light sensor keeps the backlight at optimum brightness levels.
Customised Data VisualisationAt the end of each session, using your MXm Dash, you can recall the summary of your best laps, with max/min RPM, speed, and temperatures. The AiM MXm Dash allows you to organize the massive amounts of data it collects on your custom pages, choosing amongst a wide variety of page styles, defining which data to be shown, their end of scale and unit of measure.
The AiM Sports MXm Dash system records analog inputs up to 1000 times per second. You can connect and monitor all kinds of sensors, like:
- Ratiometric potentiometers
- Pressure sensors
- Thermo-resistances
- K-type thermocouples
- … and many others.
AiM systems also feature digital inputs:
- Speed signals – From the ECU, from the GPS and from the wheel sensors.
- RPM – From the ECU or from a digital input connected to a square wave signal (8 to 50 V) or to a low voltage (from 150 to 400 V) of the coil.
- Lap signal – Lap and split times are sampled by the GPS or via optical receiver/transmitter.
Multifunction LEDs
The AiM MXm Dash features a 5 LED shift light array. Choose from a host of advanced multicolored RGB shift light patterns that can be customized to your liking, and for each unique gear when required. The AiM Sports MXm Dash also features two fully configurable RGB alarm LEDs: you can choose the conditions which turn them on/off, their color, select a solid alarm - or flashing one - and the flashing frequency.
WiFi Connectivity Saves You Time at the Track
The MXm Dash offers the opportunity to download your data wirelessly using an easy and safe WiFi connection; no data key or PC connector cable is needed. WiFi data transfer is easily configured via PC using AiM's Race Studio 3 software.
If more than one MXm/PCs are connected (a typical situation in a team) it is possible to transfer data to/from all MXm devices and/or PCs at the same time. In this case, the purchase of an access point is necessary, which acts as a bridge between the MXm Dashes and the PCs.
